Paige Thompson has been working in education and government for the past five years,
including work in public school systems and at the local, State, and Federal levels. She has held
positions in research, data collection, market research, and project management. Paige earned
her BA in Public Relations from the University of Georgia. In 2012, she continued her studies at
the UGA and graduated with a Masters of Public Administration focusing on local government
and nonprofit management. She also holds an American Management Association certificate in
Project Management. Since then, she has taken doctoral level classes in leadership and
organizational learning at George Washington University.
Most recently, she worked closely with the Division of Development and Alumni Relations at
George Washington University on the implementation of a $1 billion philanthropic campaign.
Her role included significant project planning, data tracking efforts, and constituent relations
management. She contributed heavily to the creation of a three-year campaign planning
process and template, which provided a collaborative, inter-departmental tool for all
employees. Additionally, she conducted a four-month long analysis of the organization’s change
management strategy including multiple interviews, an organizational diagnosis, and
recommendations for implementation. Prior to GW, Paige also taught 7th grade at a low-
performing school in Miami, Florida through Teach for America.
Paige joined Keleher & Associates in 2015 and has gained significant experience in researching
best practices of state and local education agencies. She has also taken initiative in managing
milestones, creating timelines, and collecting data for multiple projects. Her work has been
used to make recommendations for project implementation strategies, internal organizational
structures, and grant funding capabilities. Paige’s first-hand experience as both an educator and
a project manager enables her to understand issues from macro and micro levels, which is
beneficial for a system-wide implementation effort. She is very detail-oriented and consistently
demonstrates a commitment to excellence.
